THE CALLING is Jeff’s first feature film, a claustrophobic sci-fi thriller in development with Multistory Films.

Five abducted teenagers awake in a high-tech jail with seemingly nothing in common and they soon realise that their prison is actually a space ship hurtling towards an alien world where they will stand trial for humanity’s future.  But the military has armed their ship with enough nuclear warheads to destroy the aliens, forcing the ultimate decision: risk Earth’s survival by attending the trial or preemptively destroy their accusers, and themselves.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB meets MOON.

ABOVE WATER is a film about a chance encounter between a suicidal banker and a teenage busker.  Written and directed in only 24 hours and filmed on location in at the Occupy LSX protests, Above Water is a lyrical, emotional exploration of fate, destiny, and friendship.

Written & directed by Jeff Norton, and produced by 1947 Films, ABOVE WATER is currently playing festivals, including the 2013 London Short Film Festival.

THE FIRST ZOMBIE is the story of a reluctant zombie, fresh from the grave, who just wants to get his life back.  It examines the comedic struggles of a new zombie in a world made for the living, not the living dead.  Sometimes even the living dead deserve a second chance.  Written & directed by Jeff Norton, produced by 1947 Films.

In addition to his original writing, Jeff is a writer, director, and producer on an eclectic mix of awesome projects.

Jeff directed Amrinder Gill’s first UK music video with Gil Kolirin’s 1947 Films for Envy Worldwide. The video has racked up 3 million hits on YouTube.

Jeff’s second video for Envy Worldwide features the enigmatic Kanika Kapoor in her first video.

TRUCKTOWN

Jeff is producing the TV adaptation of Jon Scieszka’s Trucktown, the best-selling, rambunctious books about Jack Truck and his pals.  It’s full of smash-crash fun for preschool boys (and preschool boys at heart).  Now in production with Nelvana Studios, Trucktown will roll onto TV screens in the Spring of 2014.
